Sony Brings Android 4.0 Update To India

Lucky You! Sony has started driving out the Android 4.0 update for its Indian customers. But, it will be available for selected devices to start with. If you have one of those selected devices, you can enjoy the new lock-screen, smart dialer, face unlock feature, new task switcher and much more with the Ice Cream Sandwich update.
The devices receiving the update are neo V, arc S and Ray from the Xperia series. To upgrade your device, you will have to use the PC companion or Sony Bridge for Mac software on your computers.

Where the country is eagerly waiting for the update, only Samsung had released Android 4.0 for Nexus S. Sony becomes the second company to be giving the update in the country. The update still has a long way to go as even popular phones like Samsung Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note and Motorola RAZR haven't received it yet.
It is said that other Xperia series phones including Xperia arc, Xperia Play, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman may receive the update at the end of May or early June.
