It's 12 now! Just like Firefox 12, Opera hits a new version. It promises a faster and smoother experience with its new update, Opera 12, though in beta form. A slight facelift has been given to the browser, incorporating better features. Opera 12 offers 64-bit compatibility for both Mac and Windows devices, a smarter tab loading experience and an array of new themes.
The update also promises faster page uploads with speed improvements. Also, you have been provided full freedom to create your own themes. 
Beside these features, experimental hardware acceleration and a WebGL support are in the pipeline. Also, the new version doesn't carry Unite and Widgets features for an extension-driven model.
