The credit-card-sized computer, which is intended to teach students about programming, has passed EMC testing without requiring any hardware modifications. The Raspberry Pi Foundation recently announced that "alongside the CE requirements, the Raspberry Pi also complies with FCC regulations (USA) as well as CTick (Australia) and what we’ve been calling 'that Canadian thing'." Nearly a month ago, the device saw such demand on its launch that it crashed the sales sites of RS Components and element14/Premier Farnell (distributors).
